Yes, the day has come, and now OnePlus has officially announced the rollout of the stable version of OxygenOS 15 for Nord CE 3 Lite users. However, it is disappointing that no AI features are being introduced to the Nord CE 3 Lite at this time. Hopefully, OnePlus will release a future update with those features.

Apart from this, the OxygenOS 15.0.0.400 update introduces luminous UI rendering, Live Alerts with improved interaction, and advanced window management, including Floating Window and Split View gestures. Connectivity improvements include OnePlus Share for iOS file transfer, while battery features such as charging limit aim to protect the device’s longevity. Privacy has been enhanced with a dedicated hidden apps folder, and unique touches, like an Easter egg in the Calculator app, reflect OnePlus’ playful “Never Settle” philosophy.

Currently, the firmware version CPH2467_15.0.0.400(EX01) is being rolled out exclusively in the Indian region. However, it is expected to be available in other regions soon. The size of the update is currently unknown, but if we recall, the closed beta was around 3.34GB, so the stable version might be of a similar size. During the closed beta, there were some issues with Live Alerts, such as notification thumbnails not aligning properly with the text. Thankfully, this issue has now been resolved.

OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G – OxygenOS 15 Closed Beta Update

As mentioned, the OxygenOS 15 closed beta update for the Nord CE 3 Lite 5G smartphone is now available to the selected candidates, and it comes with the software version – ‘CPH2467_15.0.0.400(EX01)’ and has a size of 3.34 GB. It comes with an all-new and fresh design for users, and lets them enjoy a smoother, effortless, and seamless user experience. AI capabilities and other optimizations are also present to further improve the user experience.

Speaking more, optimizations have been made with the Luminous Rendering Effects, making certain changes in the rounded corner design by standardizing specifications and extending the application curvature. OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite – OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 1 Program

OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite Indian users who have been waiting for the OxygenOS 14 open beta 1 update, can apply for the beta program now and get to experience the brand’s new OxygenOS 14 custom skin based on the Android 14 operating system. Just like all the previous beta updates, this too shall have both known and unknown issues.

About some of the known issues, it includes system crashes when closing any bubble chat, system UI at times stops pop-ups, and a black screen may be displayed while opening an app from Google’s Home interface. The device may also crash when closing a message bubble notification, and the link to windows may stop while opened from the Control Panel.

Regarding the changelogs, an upgraded Aquamorphic design along with Aquamorpic-themed ringtones and system notifications; improved system stability, launch speed of apps, and smoothness of animations; and a better photo and video-related permission management system are all part of the update.

How to apply?

Users who are interested can go to the “Beta program” section on “About device” in “Settings”, and can submit their application from there. Before submitting the application, users must make sure that their device is updated with the latest stable version of the OxygenOS.

After submitting the application, if found eligible, the OxygenOS 14 open beta 1 update will be rolled out to the users in few days. Ensure that at least 4GB of storage and 30% battery charge is left before updating.

To roll-back to the previous OxygenOS stable version, users can download the firmware package from the respective OnePlus server and locally install it.

The Chinese smartphone company OnePlus has recently rolled out a software update for its latest OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite in India that improves the system stability and performance of the device and now just after a few devices, the brand has rolled out yet another software update for the device.

As officially announced by OnePlus, the OnePlus Nord CE 3 Lite 5G now gets the OxygenOS 13.1.0.611 update. This is an incremental rollout of the update and for now, is only for the Indian region.

The firmware version of this latest update is CPH2467_13.1.0.611(EX01). It integrates the September 2023 Android security patch to enhance the system security of the device.
