Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Watch for Kids experience, a special setup for the Galaxy Watch7 LTE that offers a fun, safe, and connected way for children to explore the digital world. Designed in collaboration with Google, the watch blends technology, education, and entertainment, all while giving parents tools to monitor and manage their child’s usage.

The Galaxy Watch for Kids allows children to make calls, send texts to approved contacts, and personalise their device with apps and watch faces from beloved brands like Barbie, Crayola, and Marvel. Using Google Family Link, parents can take charge of how the watch is used, ensuring it aligns with family values and routines.

Features Designed for Families

The Family Link app enables parents to:

• Control who kids can call and text.
• Approve or block apps on Google Play.
• Track the watch’s location.
• Activate School Time Mode to minimise distractions during class.
• Locate lost devices.

The watch offers a range of Teacher Approved apps and watch faces that mix learning and creativity. From solving puzzles with MathTango to tracking emotions with Rebel Girls Mood Journal, children can enjoy activities that develop skills in math, art, and science. Partnered brands like PBS KIDS bring fun and learning to the wrist with interactive apps inspired by popular shows like Wild Kratts.

Launch and Availability

The Galaxy Watch for Kids experience will roll out exclusively for the Galaxy Watch7 LTE in the U.S., available through AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon. There’s no word yet on its availability in other regions.
