Yesterday we shared that Google is rolling out a new update to Circle to Search for Android users when you circle something on your screen a bewitching piece of art, a trending image, or a unique object, you’ll get richer AI-powered insights. Other than this new feature the company has released interesting Gemini updates for Pixel 9 series and Gemini Advanced subscribers as well.

Pixel 9 series: AI assistant gets versatile

Gemini Live can now talk you through the images, files, and videos you see on Pixel and serves as your personal AI assistant.

• Images: Add an image to your conversation and Gemini Live can provide detailed information and suggestions, or help solve problems in real-time.
• Files: Share documents with Gemini Live, then have a discussion about them.
• Videos: Have a conversation about a YouTube video, including insights, explanations, and reasoning.

This update will be available on Pixel 9 series devices and come to Pixel 6 and later phones soon. It is also revealed that in the coming months, the Gemini app on Pixel will be among the first to get Project Astra capabilities like screen sharing and live video streaming.

Also with extensions, Gemini can help complete tasks across apps like YouTube, Google Maps, mail, and Spotify. And now users can ask Gemini to use multiple extensions in a single prompt.

Gemini Deep Research on Pixel

This new feature available for Gemini Advanced subscribers transforms your Pixel into a powerful research assistant. It helps you browse through hundreds of websites to generate a report with key findings, organized with links to original sources so you can learn even more.

Gemini Deep Research will start becoming available to Gemini Advanced subscribers on Pixel phones in the next few days. Pixel 9 Pro owners can enjoy Deep Research with the 12-month subscription to Gemini Advanced included with their purchase.

Google’s AI assistant- Gemini is being by users all over the world to enhance their productivity, learning, and creativity in everyday life. Back in February, Google officially rolled out the Gemini app in the US and later the app was made available in the UK and Europe. Well, finally Indian users will get to use the Gemini mobile in their native languages.

According to Google’s CEO, Sundar Pichai, the Gemini mobile app is now being launched in India and will be available in a total of 10 languages.

The languages include- English, Hindi, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. This newly launched app will allow Indian users to type, talk, add an image to get assistance, and much more helping more people access information and complete their tasks in their preferred language. All you need to do is just say Hey Google and Gemini will pop over your screen or you can use the app by corner swiping and hitting the power button on selected phones. Also if you opt for the Gemini app, it will become your primary assistant.

To access Gemini on Android- you can either download the app from the Play Store or opt-in through Google Assistant while for iOS users, Gemini access is rolling out directly from the Google app over the next few weeks.

Other than this, the CEO also mentioned that Gemini Advanced will also be now available in English and 9 Indian languages similar to the Gemini mobile app. While some new features are also being introduced for Gemini Advanced-

• Document Uploads: Upload multiple large documents, up to 1,500 pages total, or summarize 100 emails. Gemini Advanced can then provide quick summaries, personalized feedback, and actionable insights, saving users’ time and boosting their productivity.
• Data Analysis: Gemini Advanced now works as your data analyst. Users can tackle complex data analysis tasks by uploading spreadsheets. Gemini Advanced can clean, explore, analyze, and visualize data transforming it into interactive charts and graphs.

Last but not least, Google is also introducing Gemini in Google messages which will help in drafting messages, brainstorming ideas or planning events without leaving the app. Gemini in Google Messages will be rolled out in English on selected devices.
